Point Reyes National Seashore - Photography Lesson
*Late November through mid-February is prime Elephant Seal viewing - a real treat!
Seasonal wildlife abounds in the area including raptors, marine animals such as elephant seals, creatures in tide pools, as well as the Elk herd (some of the largest wild animals west of the Rockies).
We'll cover a lot of ground and different topics in this session.

We will meet at the Seashore Headquarters – Bear Valley (Map) for introductions and briefing on the day's activities.
You will be responsible for meals & transportation – we’ll carpool after we meet
Gear: In addition to your DSLR, Mirrorless or Micro Four Thirds camera I suggest you bring
- Lenses - a selection of wide-angle (16mm + ), telephoto (300-400mm + If you have a teleconverter to add to your telephoto lens), and macro lens
- Filters - circular polarizer, Graduated Neutral Density, and a 10 stop Solid Density filter (optional)
- Tripod
- Backpack or another carry bag for your gear.
