Point Reyes National Seashore – Photography Workshop
*Late November thru mid-February is prime Elephant Seal viewing – a real treat!
Seasonal wildlife abounds in the area including raptors, marine animals such as elephant seals, creatures in tide pools, as well as the Elk herd (some of the largest wild animals west of the Rockies). This is a full day session and we usually finish with a sunset shoot depending on weather…

We will meet at 9 am at Seashore Headquarters – Bear Valley (Map) for introductions and briefing on the days activities.
You will be responsible for meals & transportation – we’ll carpool after we meet
Gear: In addition to your DSLR, Mirrorless or Micro Four Thirds camera I suggest you bring
- Lenses – a selection of wide angle (16mm + ), telephoto (300-400mm + ), macro and If you have a teleconverter to add to your telephoto lens
- Filters – circular polarizer, graduated Neutral Density, and a 10 stop Solid Density filter (optional)
- Backpack or other carrying bag for your gear.
