“Before the Storm”
Usually visible beyond the trees is Mount Moran, in this case enshrouded in a snow storm. On this day I was the only person there. The trees lit only momentarily as the clouds allowed brilliant light to shine across them. Even the colors reflected upward and into the cloud cover. The scene was surreal. There was almost no sound except for the muted splashing of the ducks bathing in the river. I consider the moment a true gift…
