Point Reyes National Seashore – Photography Workshop
*Late December thru mid-February is prime Elephant Seal viewing – a real treat!
From dramatic landscapes, seascapes, large and small wildlife Point Reyes National Seashore has it all. The weather always adds drama to your images be it thick fog or beautiful sunsets. Photo opportunities include the weathered lighthouse, beach scenes such as Drakes Bay’s beautiful “Cliff’s of Dover” type geography, sand dunes, and of course the old fishing boat wreck, the “Point Reyes”. We’ll also visit locations where your creativity can be your guide to great images.
Seasonal wildlife abounds in the area including raptors, marine animals such as elephant seals, creatures in tide pools, as well as the Elk herd (some of the largest wild animals west of the Rockies). We usually finish with a sunset shoot depending on weather…
We will meet at 8 am at Seashore Headquarters – Bear Valley (Map) for introductions and briefing on the days activities.
